The Lake Louise BMC & the blurry post-party
The Lake Louise Big Mountain Challenge (BMC) took place this weekend. I drove to Lake Louise to Saturday to get in some sweet spring snowboarding, take in the final day of the competition and stay for raucous after-party.
My friend Laura Sliva took first place on the women’s side and collected a hard-earned $1,500 giant cheque. Here’s what Biglines.com had to say about her performance in the finals:
Laura Sliva killed her run with a peppery triple drop at the bottom and plowed through the mogul-ridden chunder better than just about any competitor — whether they be sporting an inny or an outty!
Laura’s been killing it this year: her first place at the Lake Louise BMC was fresh off her win at the Fernie BMC this season.
